Our beloved Airedale Terrier mix Soliver has successfully mastered the lie down command, after a training session getting him all fired up and energized he's a step closer to achieving his Master Trick Dog Title and his owner will be thrilled :) So far he's learned Lie down, Speak, Roll over, and Sit! He's awfully brilliant and doesn't let a little rain dampen his shine, the breeze blows and carries with it sprinkles of rain and the fresh scent of pine. With his vibrant sparkling sapphire blue eyes bright, and his wavy fur and focus sharp as he is attentive with all his might! Princess Audra looks on as she admires her knight in shining furry armour, his desire to learn commands and practice agility so he may earn a future title is alluring to her and she wishes the best for him as she cheers him on, as he performs a riveting amusing performance with Clementine wearing his sweet smile on the crisp grassy lawn :) The garden is the most delightful place to be

Our dapper and courteous chap Soliver rests his silver and tan furry body on a comfy rug, as he listens to the classiest mellifluous old English music with his sophisticated glasses looking smug. The melody flows through his soul like the fresh cold wind through the trees, thankfully he's inside his warm cottage where he will not freeze, where he can snack and woof and snooze as he pleases, without any pelt biting buggers such as fleas! Why, the Castle-like home is the most wonderful place to be, quite indeed <3 :)
Princess Audra was in a daze, it seems another Autumn illness has hit on of our dear lassies! perhaps it's some seasonal phase. Clementine looked puzzled so she asked Audra to come here, and she looked like she didn't feel well once she was near. Clementine was devastated, "Another sickness? That's the third one this month!" Clementine exclaimed. So she rushed her off to the vet, before the sickness was set. Audra was weak and couldn't hardly keep pace, the stars were twinkling around her precious pointy face! So Clementine scooped up her pup and carried her. Her little paws were sweating as she was being pet on the way to the vet. Clementine: "Are you okay?" Audra: "I think so, I started feeling dizzy after I had a frolicsome romp with Soliver, after I nipped his legs I fell on my head". That was all that was said, the petite Princess needed an examination! Clementine was quick to sign her up for curing her illness. She gave Audra a comforting hug and felt her begin to feel more relaxed :) Just then the caring young chap Soliver burst into the facility, with a concerned woof. Soliver: "I came as soon as I heard! how are you feeling?". He yelped with unease. He nuzzled Audra. Audra: "I'm alright, I feel better already, it was just a little impact..but thanks for caring". Audra blushed, she was flattered. Soliver "That's great, I just couldn't live with myself thinking it was my fault you were hurt, I had to accompany you" Clementine awwed and admired Soliver's compassion for Audra. Audra was finally called into the examination room as she moseyed over to it. Ms Tammy the vet diagnosed Audra with "Derpy doggy syndrome" as a result from minor trauma, but Princess Audra is strong and we were informed that she's strong enough to recover with some probiotics. Audra barked and was thrilled to receive her probiotics so she could feel bouncy as a butterfly once again. After stroking Audra's chest and spine, she also made another conclusion. Tammy: "Princess Audra has lost some weight since her last check-up! now she's even healthier, keep up the good exercise" Audra tilted her head and woofed. Audra: "All that agility paid off, now I've got the body of an athlete" She declared with pride. Clementine gave Princess Audra a pleasant affectionate hug, then she paraded back home with her feeling as comfy and snug as a bug in a rug with a healthy Princess :) As we trot our way over to the Vet's office on our merry way, Aubrey's tail wags and he has delicate whiskers as he does so as he please, as we can hear the faintest whisper of the golden Autumn spirit through the lush trees. King Aubrey wasn't feeling well, oh my, it seems another illness has struck our king! perhaps since the season's changing. A jump, a bite, it seems he's came in contact with fleas! Clementine and her German Shepherd are have traveled to their faithful vet at the speed of light. Thankfully it's nothing too serious this time, the last bit of insects must be coming out before it's too cold and they're biting our precious canines. His fur must be crawling with fleas as he twitches he soft precious little ears, don't worry your majesty, there's no need to fear! flea treatment is near. As the sun subtly rises, the clouds are abundant and the wind is cold, it's not a big surprise as autumn is rolling in. Our King Aubrey was quite confident about getting on the examination table, he's used to the Vet but it's the mysterious treatment he will receive that makes his sable fur tremble with a wee bit of nervousness. Luckily the pet doctor pulled out a tasty biscuit! it was so scrummy and succulent in his snout. After a quick exam the vet concluded "How about a monthly flea preventative? that way the fleas won't find him to be a tasty snack" King Aubrey's ears perked before he raised his voice humourously. Aubrey: I'm no snack!. He barked menacingly as he whacked his paw on the table. Clementine and the Veterinarian giggled. With the pill administered, Aubrey declared he felt better already, but Clementine still removed that potentially itchy Bow-tie collar. Clementine: Let's go collarless for once, let that neck fur of yours breathe. King Aubrey looked a bit embarrassed. Aubrey: But that's my sophisticated finesse! I'm naked without it. Aubrey barked with laughter and the loving owner and faithful Kingly companion walked off into the sunrise together as they made their way back home. :) There lies some grime in our Duchess Romilly's finest fur, time to get squeaky clean! good thing bath-time doesn't make her mean :) A splish a splash, all she needs is a dash of the purest wave of hydration on her crisp auburn bronze and russet fur. When she gets dingy, her fur is like the crusted hair of a muddy piggy swine! but afterwards it's like the cleanest softest hair of an angel, because after-all she is our angel <3 With her tender loving temperament, she is sweet as sugar <3 I love our water-loving lassie, she swims, she does a splash, but most of all she likes to take baths! It was such a chilly night in Yorkshire as we began to feel the air grow cooler as the sun set, Clementine had been into her favourite book all evening
and when she took a break from reading she realized with a shock that Prince Donovan looked pale as a ghost! his fur looked so colourless and cold, it was as if he'd been rolled in ice! like he'd been running around getting too cold chasing squirrels, something wasn't right. Donovan whimpered "I'm so c-c-cold! I just want to curl up in a blanket and be pet". Clementine gasped. Clementine: Not yet if you're sick as the dickens! it's off to the vet. Clementine rushed Donovan off to the vet's office, Donovan's a healthy young dog who's normally fit as a fiddle who'd never been sick, he's always fast, cuddly, and knows almost every trick! As they left to go on their way his owner carefully gave him a cozy coat to wear so he would stay warm and without suffering in the cold storm of wind. Prince Donovan was guided into the building, his warm jumper was helping but at this point it was like he was a canine snowman! Hopefully he won't start melting. "He couldn't possibly be melting?" Clementine thought as she observed his paws sweating. He must be nervous. The dog's tail was frizzy and he must feel like he was turning into a Samoyed with his white fur, he's not humiliated is he? Donovan sensing his owner's concern expressed his feelings. Donovan: It's a wee bit scary here, especially when I don't feel too well. Donovan covered his face with his paw Clementine reassured Donovan that he would be feeling fine as a dandelion as soon as they gave him some immune system boosting medicine. Clementine: Don't worry my angel, you will shine as bright as a star once again! once you feel better. Donovan jumped with surprise when it was suddenly his turn to go into the back. The vet was very gentle with him and smiled commenting on his pearly white teeth! Donovan shook like a leaf on the exam table. Clementine: On the bright side, blue fur does look dapper on you! they chuckled. Prince Donovan was diagnosed with Winterfest fever, which is odd considering it's only Autumn. Doctor Max fixed him right up giving him a dose of premium immune system boosting vitamins, helping Donovan feel warmer and better in a jif! He smiled and wagged his tail, his bright red fur had returned and he looked redder and healthier than ever! like a shiny red apple. That's my jolly good lad, being brave and getting the treatment he needed, good boy <3 Sprinkle, splatter, a tickle of raindrops being whisked away by fast fur, all these are words that describe the act of shaking rain-water off a fine sir. "Why, I haven't been in this much rain since I was a pup exploring and trecking through splashes of raindrops from the treetops in the woods! But I suppose the rain will come heavy again as it should" King Aubrey commented with a spark of facination in his bark. England has always been known for it's notable significant rainfall, Autumn is especially known for being wet and windy, which could either cause the dogs to be giddy wth the cool breeze or whinny in protest from the drizzle of rain on their fur, either way they try to enjoy it and would like to spend some time together getting a drizzley layer of refreshing rain and mist on their fur to wash away and dirt that may have occured on them from their play, perhaps a walk in the light rain could be productive and relaxing as if they were near a refreshing waterfall. But maybe sometimes we should grab their doggy raincoats and hit the grassy slopes with the rain is extreme! Semi-experienced dog trainer Lyla Lavish has chaperoned her sporty beloved dog Soliver over to her best-friend Clementine's royal cottage plantation to have themselves a lovely training session and a delightful agility practice celebration within the lands of the softest sacred grounds in the English nation! after a quick vet-checkup, Soliver has been vaccinated to be rid of his advanced swamp mouth, and off to the training grounds where he'll be happy and healthy and sound :) The weather was damp and soggy, but with a shining spirit and sparkle of interest Soliver was certainly not froggy. With the piddle of fluffy paws with a dash over the ramp, Soliver was overcome with a smile when he was praised even though the raindrop touched his nose and sprinkled on his fur. Lyla did her best to use kind words and treats as she encouraged her courageous canine chap to excel on the agility obstacles. "He's going to be a fantastic athlete" Lyla thought to herself. Meanwhile Soliver had in mind, "I'm going to be so strong and impress the King, I want to be a duke and have a chance with the lassie I love". Soliver followed Lyla's loving hand and leaped onto the platform, he stayed reliable and calm as he rested on it and enjoyed the sweet smell of the nearby poppies and Aloe. A chuffed smile rose over Soliver's face and his eyes were squinted with satisfaction. Soliver: Duke Soliver, it has a nice ring to it" Recently we told Soliver about his nearing title as Duke once he's earned his way up as a more experienced Agility athlete, and he's thrilled to bits! the platform is sometimes a tricky part of agility, and when dogs become scared on it, it's no fun! But Soliver did great practicing! he was pleased to be able to get it done. Soliver made a running jump through the hoops, without letting his wet fur slow him down, in fact, the water provided a fun challenge for him with the wet ground. Soliver glided over the short jump, and he did a splendid job zig zagging, tunnel dashing with no back-tracking. He was rewarded with a tasty biscuit! Soliver seemed overjoyed when we told him he was on his way to becoming a Duke, and someday a father <3 Such a good lad It's those cute little moments that we treasure, giving our loveliest nurturer of the kennel a well deserved affectionate hug, rescuing her from the Liverpool Adoption Centre around 4 sim years ago was a pleasure, and a wonderful choice we made welcoming Romilly into our home. We would love to wish her a happy fifth birthday, in the form of a tasty biscuit and with sweet positive praise. We love to thank her for giving us Donovan, such a sweet gentle lad who's a splendid addition to our kennel. She's raised him and helped shape him into a well rounded dog so well, and he's a respectful good chap, she shall get a luscious grooming session and a splendid round of applause and claps. :) Happy Birthday Duchess Romilly! |
