King Aubrey had a grateful smile on his face, overwhelming his precious kingly muzzle. His ears perked with flourishing energy as he independantly trotted out of the Vet Clinic feeling renewed, with no more paws that sizzle hot, oh no no, healthiness and thankfulness is what we got. Clementine felt great seeing her prestigious pooch leading the way as he began to gallop home, feeling free and frisky he was in the zone. But there was a new heat about today, it had been warm before but this time the sun began to really shine and they could feel the sun on their skin like never before, Clementine: It's never usually this hot in yorkshire, or any part of England.. Clementine said outloud. Perhaps the sun is finally shining through the British weather sterotypes and giving England a good dose of Vitamin D for once, how lovely, now Aubrey's feet have a healthy warmth to them :)

King Aubrey arrived at the Vet Clinic. His paws were hot like lava and his fur was bristling, but he felt much better being at the doctor even though his paws were sizzling. Him and Clementine were calm as they happily observed the passing clouds outside the window, it looked like such a nice day outside with the warm breeze, too bad there are no Flamingoes, seeing those would make them so pleased. They called Aubrey's name by addressing him by the honourable title "Your majesty" as they summoned him to follow them. King Aubrey yawned with calmness, the nice cool air conditioned enviornment was a pleasure, but as he headed to the exam room he couldn't wait to feel better. He was gentle and obeying as he stepped up onto the exam table, feeling a woosh as he was lifted up, the vet touched his fur that was so soft and sable, here he felt very safe and stable. Especially as an older dog, he has more wisdom and understanding of the importance of Vet visits. The elevating table was pretty neat, and the King felt like he was first class. But then Dr Hector shined something interesting all around King Aubrey, a magnifying glass. He rain the magnifying glass all over the King's body closely examining him, until he came to the conclusion Aubrey has in infection called Sizzlepaw! We were offered a basic inexpensive treatment, and a more costly effective treatment, so we had to choose the more effective treatment as you can't spare any expense on royalty! Our Monarch is well deserving. Dr Hector gave him a shot, he wasn't fond of it but he was glad to be feeling better. Aubrey: It shouldn't be long until I'm feeling fine as a glass of wine! my paws will be feeling good and cool soon enough, Clem, put the AC on in the vehicle!. haha, he's always quick to seek recovery from any minor sickness, he loves bouncing back. It's such a warm morning today in Yorkshire, the tree leaves are blowing in the breeze, the flowers are being pollinated by the delicate little bees. The air is crisp with the hint that autumn's on it's way. The dogs are filled with pride and joy, but one very important canine is less than splendid I say D: Our King Aubrey was knackered last night, he was totally exhausted so he curled up to sleep in a little ball of fluff, and when he woke up his feet were red and hot, he was feeling a bit ruff! He barked at Clementine, both of them gasped before she exclaimed "You don't look so fine!" So off to the veterinarian we go, with our German Shepherd's unusually red glowy toes. If we didn't take him fast enough he was bound to turn into Aubrey the red-pawed reindeer! lighting up our royal ground, his feet hurting all year round, my, oh my it wouldn't be as fun as it sounds. Enough with these p'awful jokes, we must go visit the expert pet doctor folks! Queen Camilla is a small but mighty bundle of energy today, her paws are fluffy and her eyes are still bright. It could be an excellent time for some agility practice, she's sweet and pleasant and never prickly like a cactus Her sparkling ocean blue eyes are glittey like a waterfall. Clementine asked her fluffy Tri-coloured lassie to come to the starting point, tail wagging and panting with pride, she made an elegant stride over the ramp. She launched herself onto the lighted podium, she sat with calmness and serenity :) Clementine smiled as her sheltie happily obeyed as she nicely commanded her to leap through the tyre jump with the sunlight blazing through her thick fur and glinting off her sacred crown. She was a furry flurry jumping through the shorter more easier hoops, conquering the obstacles with grace her ears were cute little soft circle loops. She made a dash between the poles, as she made her delicate agile stroll. She was tenacious as she flashed through the tunnels, with amusement in her eye, oh how we love her she's as cute and sweet as pie. Her good natured sportsdogship and handler cooperation combined with her swift abilities made for a smashing trial today, as she accomplished a perfect agility run at 52 minutes! Jolly good lassie, swift as the wind but sweet as sugar <3 Our royal canines make me so glad when they complete perfect trials :) Our sweet and tender Duchess Romilly was feeling peppy, her ears perky and her fur radiant with positive energy, she was surely ready for a trial of some good traditional agility. Her paws feeling empowered, her legs strong, she had some vibrant abilities, especially considering she's a Champion at Agility. It was a cool crisp night, when Clementine used her
gentle voice to summon her prestigious Duchess over to the starting ramp. She made a good trot over it with the moonlight soaking into her fur, if she were a cat you'd hear her purr :) She sprung herself onto the lit up podium, They had practiced beforehand, everything was going according to plan... until she heard the hoot of an owl! it was so scary, causing a foul D: Although she proceeded along the moonlit agility pathway, enjoying the wind in her face as she soared like a dove over the jumps and was doing a-okay. She nimbly moved through the lighted poles, the poles are one of her favourite obstacles as it makes her feel like a slinky flexible mink! She made a dash through the high tyre jump, grazing the rubber with her fur but completing it gracefully. She swiftly stalked through the dark tunnels, and felt like she was in a cave, but she was quite brave. She completed it with a jolly good timing of 59 minutes with only a single fault! Good girl, that's my lassie. <3 :) As the sun is blazing through, heating up all of the land on this pleasant Sunday afternoon, the breeze is blowing just enough to make this day ideal for an awesome agility trial! and who's better to ask to perform an agility trial than 7 year old Agility Champion and King of the kennel himself? he has much experience over the years and a lovely trial is much deserved. Despite his age his energy level is still quite high and he's just blossoming with potential to ace agility today, it could be smashing! Clementine prepared King Aubrey at the starting line with a great attitude towards the German Shepherd mix, and Aubrey himself had a good sportsmanship competitive attitude towards agility. He whisked over the lighted ramp with ease, feeling pretty gleeful and good as a fresh green leaf with a smile on his face. He catapulted himself onto the podium, and made such a good leap it was like trampoline galore. But then to our dread, he quivered with fear as he was so scared when he heard the sound of the neighbors garage door, causing a fault :( But he continued on, trotting along the trail as he made a dashing leap over the blue agility jump without fail, conquering all of the brand new jumps with a prideful stride, smiling along the way :) He made a zig zag through the poles, with accuracy and great control. He aced the tire jump as naturally as a dandelion shedding it's dried seeds in the wind, and made a brave trot through the fun tunnels before making a rapid run towards the finish line! finally picking up the pace as he rushed like a gush of ocean waves. He made a good timing of 2 hours, with a single fault, which is below average time but perhaps the wind was throwing him off? either way, he tried his jolly best and now he's on his way to accomplish faster and more perfect agility trials like he did in his younger days :) Good boy Aubrey, he now deserves a biscuit <3 Play the slideshow to watch the agility trial! As the evening grew later, Soliver and Princess Audra were about ready to head home feeling spiffy and great with the tea they'd been catered. Their handler Lyla enjoyed the last delightful satisfying sip of coffee, it was so rich and caffeinating and brown and sweet as toffee! Coffee made her have so much glee. Soliver and Audra enjoyed an affectionate play-fight, being cautious as to not hurt eachother as they would be devastated at the sight. With bellies full of tea, and tails held high, they figure it's a great time to start heading back home, but they discover there's rain on the streets! oh my... Despite the mucky roads, they make the best of it as they walk and talk and have a jolly good time as they scamper back home, kicking up dirt along the unpaved street, and walking beside each other so fondly and and sweet :) The clouds had cleared so no more rain was near, the air was fresh and clean making the outdoor environment so serene and lovely. <3 Princess Audra and her dear friend Soliver share a delightful romping frolic together inside of a fun coffee shop, feeling frisky and free as the tea supplied them with caffeine, the fun made them feel like they were going to pop! The young petite gray and tan Princess had never before felt so close to a friend before, having a ravishing frolic with him on the floor and a delectable conversation with him had not been a bore! the background Jazz music had helped drive good natured banter into their souls and gave them good spirit, they felt like they'd been friends since forever. For now, they were forged together like a sword in a stone, a companionship that could not be severed! She didn't think she'd like it if another dog bit at her paw, but in a playful manner she was surprised to have enjoyed it while pretending to avoid it :D The bright entry sign was illuminated so bright, shining fresh joy into their hearts with the sight. Inside was like a breath of fresh air with the cool air condition It was like a cool cave lair. Soliver: sort of formal, I like it. Except for the floors, they could use a little more care and polish. The young dog declared. The scent of coffee beans were pungent in the air, hopefully they've got some coffee or tea they're willing to spare, Audra thought. The Princess was quite fond of the smell, but there was something that put her off that was never quite well. The ear splitting sound of coffee beans grinding can make any dog's heart jump, The dogs cringed in the presence of the crackling of coffee beans. Soliver trembled and barked. Soliver: what is that dreadful sound? It was like horror was all around. Lyla reassured them it was only the coffee maker, and to stop acting like a salt and pepper shaker. Soliver seemed to have a better understanding of it, while Audra was still quivering. The two dogs ordered a cuppa tea, and Soliver wandered off to explore while Audra was slightly disapointed by his disapearance. Soliver: Blimey, I found a loo! Soliver found the human bathroom and got a kick out of it's weirdness, barking with laughter. Soliver and Princess Audra quickly mingled together again, intertwining their tails as they moved along on their lovely little trail to the sitting area. The tiny pitter patter on the floor was from their little but prominent nails. The chairs were cozy like soft clouds, and the table was so shiny to their surprise, but nothing was better than looking into each-other's sparkling whimsical eyes :) Soliver told Audra all about his puppyhood growing up in the Netherlands, and how he always despised baths, but after he matured and liked looking sharply dressed he favoured them since they gave him a shiny coat and clean calves. Audra giggled Audra: I've always liked admiring the beautiful waters, but swim-loving lassie Romilly takes it to a whole other level! I've never liked it so much I wanted to take a splash. Soliver joked about them creating an "Anti swim club" and the two shared a laugh over their odd similarity. It had been a decently warm day with the sun shining outside, but alas the tables turned and you could hear a drizzle atop the roof, the sound of rain makes everything more cozy and simplified. And now all they wanted is to curl up together and nap listening to the fall of the rain <3 :) Our photographer was even able to capture a picture of the delicate rain on the window <3 With Soliver sporting his dashing aesthetic glasses so he can see extra good, and Audra sporting a delicate and oh so intricate floral tiara like she should, the two head off on their merry way champeroned by Soliver's dedicated handler and semi-experienced trainer Lyla as they make their way to Starbucks. Their stylish usually stagnet tails were frizzled with glee, as their eyes gleamed and they used their paws to trot so happilly. Their eyes were glittered with curiosity at the bright lit up entry sign, and they giggled with jocosity. Soliver: I never thought I'd be so excited to go have coffee. They laughed. Audra: Yes, and with someone we never thought we'd go out with. and here we are, wiggling like puppies. Audra giggled nervously, then directing the attention to something else. Audra: And that fountain over there, it's so splishy splashy, and unique. Amazing. Soliver's ears perked with amusement, had Audra never seen a fountain before? Lyla finally encouraged them to make their way inside the facility. |
