There lies some grime in our Duchess Romilly's finest fur, time to get squeaky clean! good thing bath-time doesn't make her mean :) A splish a splash, all she needs is a dash of the purest wave of hydration on her crisp auburn bronze and russet fur. When she gets dingy, her fur is like the crusted hair of a muddy piggy swine! but afterwards it's like the cleanest softest hair of an angel, because after-all she is our angel <3 With her tender loving temperament, she is sweet as sugar <3 I love our water-loving lassie, she swims, she does a splash, but most of all she likes to take baths!

It was such a chilly night in Yorkshire as we began to feel the air grow cooler as the sun set, Clementine had been into her favourite book all evening
and when she took a break from reading she realized with a shock that Prince Donovan looked pale as a ghost! his fur looked so colourless and cold, it was as if he'd been rolled in ice! like he'd been running around getting too cold chasing squirrels, something wasn't right. Donovan whimpered "I'm so c-c-cold! I just want to curl up in a blanket and be pet". Clementine gasped. Clementine: Not yet if you're sick as the dickens! it's off to the vet. Clementine rushed Donovan off to the vet's office, Donovan's a healthy young dog who's normally fit as a fiddle who'd never been sick, he's always fast, cuddly, and knows almost every trick! As they left to go on their way his owner carefully gave him a cozy coat to wear so he would stay warm and without suffering in the cold storm of wind. Prince Donovan was guided into the building, his warm jumper was helping but at this point it was like he was a canine snowman! Hopefully he won't start melting. "He couldn't possibly be melting?" Clementine thought as she observed his paws sweating. He must be nervous. The dog's tail was frizzy and he must feel like he was turning into a Samoyed with his white fur, he's not humiliated is he? Donovan sensing his owner's concern expressed his feelings. Donovan: It's a wee bit scary here, especially when I don't feel too well. Donovan covered his face with his paw Clementine reassured Donovan that he would be feeling fine as a dandelion as soon as they gave him some immune system boosting medicine. Clementine: Don't worry my angel, you will shine as bright as a star once again! once you feel better. Donovan jumped with surprise when it was suddenly his turn to go into the back. The vet was very gentle with him and smiled commenting on his pearly white teeth! Donovan shook like a leaf on the exam table. Clementine: On the bright side, blue fur does look dapper on you! they chuckled. Prince Donovan was diagnosed with Winterfest fever, which is odd considering it's only Autumn. Doctor Max fixed him right up giving him a dose of premium immune system boosting vitamins, helping Donovan feel warmer and better in a jif! He smiled and wagged his tail, his bright red fur had returned and he looked redder and healthier than ever! like a shiny red apple. That's my jolly good lad, being brave and getting the treatment he needed, good boy <3 Sprinkle, splatter, a tickle of raindrops being whisked away by fast fur, all these are words that describe the act of shaking rain-water off a fine sir. "Why, I haven't been in this much rain since I was a pup exploring and trecking through splashes of raindrops from the treetops in the woods! But I suppose the rain will come heavy again as it should" King Aubrey commented with a spark of facination in his bark. England has always been known for it's notable significant rainfall, Autumn is especially known for being wet and windy, which could either cause the dogs to be giddy wth the cool breeze or whinny in protest from the drizzle of rain on their fur, either way they try to enjoy it and would like to spend some time together getting a drizzley layer of refreshing rain and mist on their fur to wash away and dirt that may have occured on them from their play, perhaps a walk in the light rain could be productive and relaxing as if they were near a refreshing waterfall. But maybe sometimes we should grab their doggy raincoats and hit the grassy slopes with the rain is extreme! Semi-experienced dog trainer Lyla Lavish has chaperoned her sporty beloved dog Soliver over to her best-friend Clementine's royal cottage plantation to have themselves a lovely training session and a delightful agility practice celebration within the lands of the softest sacred grounds in the English nation! after a quick vet-checkup, Soliver has been vaccinated to be rid of his advanced swamp mouth, and off to the training grounds where he'll be happy and healthy and sound :) The weather was damp and soggy, but with a shining spirit and sparkle of interest Soliver was certainly not froggy. With the piddle of fluffy paws with a dash over the ramp, Soliver was overcome with a smile when he was praised even though the raindrop touched his nose and sprinkled on his fur. Lyla did her best to use kind words and treats as she encouraged her courageous canine chap to excel on the agility obstacles. "He's going to be a fantastic athlete" Lyla thought to herself. Meanwhile Soliver had in mind, "I'm going to be so strong and impress the King, I want to be a duke and have a chance with the lassie I love". Soliver followed Lyla's loving hand and leaped onto the platform, he stayed reliable and calm as he rested on it and enjoyed the sweet smell of the nearby poppies and Aloe. A chuffed smile rose over Soliver's face and his eyes were squinted with satisfaction. Soliver: Duke Soliver, it has a nice ring to it" Recently we told Soliver about his nearing title as Duke once he's earned his way up as a more experienced Agility athlete, and he's thrilled to bits! the platform is sometimes a tricky part of agility, and when dogs become scared on it, it's no fun! But Soliver did great practicing! he was pleased to be able to get it done. Soliver made a running jump through the hoops, without letting his wet fur slow him down, in fact, the water provided a fun challenge for him with the wet ground. Soliver glided over the short jump, and he did a splendid job zig zagging, tunnel dashing with no back-tracking. He was rewarded with a tasty biscuit! Soliver seemed overjoyed when we told him he was on his way to becoming a Duke, and someday a father <3 Such a good lad It's those cute little moments that we treasure, giving our loveliest nurturer of the kennel a well deserved affectionate hug, rescuing her from the Liverpool Adoption Centre around 4 sim years ago was a pleasure, and a wonderful choice we made welcoming Romilly into our home. We would love to wish her a happy fifth birthday, in the form of a tasty biscuit and with sweet positive praise. We love to thank her for giving us Donovan, such a sweet gentle lad who's a splendid addition to our kennel. She's raised him and helped shape him into a well rounded dog so well, and he's a respectful good chap, she shall get a luscious grooming session and a splendid round of applause and claps. :) Happy Birthday Duchess Romilly! The crisp autumn breeze ruffles King Aubrey's thin wiry grey and sable fur. His muzzle may be grey, and his muscles might not be as buff, but with the enthusiasm of a young heart his spirit is as free as a wolf pup. His paws are like big soft feet of play, as he tackles Clementine's arms, a low gruffy growl was all he could say, as he likes to politely fiddle with his mouth. We always admire and encourage his frolicsome attitude, and always praise him for having a good natured mood. For a moment he stopped and glared the other way across the meadow with his radiant Ocean blue eyes, his ears perked and he didn't say a word, as he listened to the sweet mellifluous song of the yellow Finch bird. The birch trees tend to be abundant with fall loving birds as the leaves turn red and orange. Our first Autumn shall be a glorious time for the sacred traditional grounds of Yorkshire's precious Royal pawed doggy dynasty :) Experienced dog owner and trainer Clementine was chuffed as she walked down the driveway with a special badge in hand, as she approached her precious beloved little lassie where she took a stand, prepared as she sported her royal Tiara. Crested with gold and made of the finest purple silk It was such a sacred emblem and her eyes were sparkling as she was honoured to have it bestowed upon her. Clementine: with this honourary badge, it is a symbolic representation of being a good canine citizen, it means you must honour good manners, polite etiquette and friendliness towards all that mean well. It is a pleasure that you were able to earn this accomplishment and you will do swell!. Clementine declared onto Audra with a smile :) So Audra got to wear her lovely little badge that shined and glittered in the sunlight peeking through the clouds, it made her feel like a winner! so with an energetic leap she wagged her tail and ran inside to have a lovely raw dinner :) Her Good Canine Citizenship Badge felt great pinned to her fur, like sticky sweet honey on a happy bear's mouth, she wore it with pride, and was overjoyed to indulge in her juicy meal of Lean beef, lovely liver, and the richest bones! She felt flattered and qualified, and couldn't wait to present it to her father and mother especially. Such a jolly good lass, I'm so pleased she was able to demonstrate remarkable self control and proper obedience to earn this award, may her family flourish just as well and earn their GCCA <3 :) In Celebration Audra even performed some splendid tricks for Austin and her canine family, what a delight <3 Play the slideshow to observe Princess Audra's joy as she receives her splendid award :) Queen Camilla and her daughter Princess Audra are as frolicsome as two giddy geese in a warm pond! they are quite socialable and love some good family time together, polite and cheeky they are like two birds of a feather. The affectionate young lady Audra play bows and wags her tail, her fluffy mum
is just as playful and wiggly as she hoots a yipping playful wail. Why, Princess Audra is livelier then a British Ninja warrior as she makes frivolous electric leaps around, razzling her mother, she is one vibrant hound! with her lightning quick paws, all the Queen can do to compete with that kind of energy is make a frisky wave and yelp through her tiny white jaws. Our pair of bow-tie beauties share their love of energetic play, it just makes them want to run out to our agility course on a warm royally wonderful day :) Princess Audra being the next in line to the throne is the first one we're taking out and about around Runswick bay to test her good manners and proper etiquette so she can qualify to receive her GCCA (Good canine Citizenship Award) Every Check ✓ represents another achieved requirement for the award. Princess Audra is quite keen and chipper and feels privileged as Clementine offered to take her on a walk, our dogs are always excited to go on walks and jogs as they love adventures, but are usually too afraid to go out exploring on their own which is a good thing for their safety. Audra was polite and didn't pull as she walked nicely on a loose leash ✓ she walked springily as she trotted over the nice pebbley sand and held her head high, Clementine guided her past a flock of seagulls which served as a minor distraction and she reacted calmly and no chasing, she didn't try ✓ Princess Audra remained sweet and calm as a friendly stranger pet her head, Audra was so gentle and quiet, a smile was all she said ✓. The warm seaside breeze tickled her fur and was soothing to Clementine but a bit noisy, so we trotted around and tried to find a place where the wind wasn't so loud, we ended up gallivanting through a crowd! Audra's ears were pretty perked but she remained vigilant and stayed close to her best friend and loving owner as they passed by, ✓. Princess Audra was like a vibrant little ray of sunshine as she had the sweetest smile on her face, her legs grew tired from all of the quick paced trotting as if she was in some kind of race so we went over to a little place closer to our cottage but still nearby the beach, it was the perfect little stone next to a bush where she could sit and rest and continue being her best :) Clementine asked the petite German Shepherd mix to Sit, and then asked her to lie down as she was happy to obey ✓. The confident experienced dog owner whipped out her handy dog brush and made sure Audra's fur was shiny and clean and free of being sandy, the Princess was looking sharp and spiffy and just dandy! ✓ Clementine commanded Audra to stay in her position, she moved several yards away from her and then kindly asked her to run to her side! ✓ Good girl! . We strolled passed some free roaming dogs, one of them sung us a song! Audra was well behaved and tolerant of the strange dogs :) ✓ Later on Princess Audra being the rebel she is wandered off onto the deck all alone, watching some people fish before playing in a slimy fish pile! that kind of thing is just her style :) but she did well having supervised separation from her owner ✓ Congratulations my special Princess, it was a long day but you finally have earned your Good Canine Citizenship award! good lassie <3 While masters Clementine and Austin are sleeping taking a kip upstairs, Princess Audra is infatuated by the alluring Fish and chips on the kitchen table. She sat pretty admiring it with a wish for some fish, her soft grey fur fluffy and the food looks so scrummy. She knows she can't make a move to nick the food, stealing is bad etiquette and oh so rude. She can't help but fancy some good fish with lemony zest, but hopefully in the morning when breakfast time arises Clementine will kindly fulfill her delightful seafood request :) "I must be on my best behaviour, my rightful duty and stay adored so I can hope to get my canine citizenship award' she pleasingly remembered <3 |
see what our dogs are up to! daily updates :)
